EndRun Technologies Announces CDMA Compatibility for Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong

Santa Rosa, CA, September 15, 2011 - EndRun Technologies, a precision time and frequency company, today announced new Japanese, South Korean, and Hong Kong CDMA frequency assignments are now supported by all current CDMA timing products.  Adding the ability to decode the new frequencies allows EndRun's CDMA receiver to deliver precise time as wireless commercial carriers are evolving their networks and implementing Long-Term Evolution (LTE) upgrades.

As the service providers in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong proceed on the wireless evolutionary path, they are continuing to support the CDMA network for voice calls while changing the CDMA frequency assignments.  This requires a software modification to EndRun's CDMA timing receiver so as to decode the new frequencies.

Existing customers in South Korea and Hong Kong can upgrade their EndRun products with a simple software download freely available on EndRun's website.  A Field Service Bulletin with specific details is available here: www.endruntechnologies.com/support/product-bulletins.  Products in Japan require a software and relatively small hardware upgrade.  The Japanese upgrade is being handled by Shoshin Corporation, EndRun's representative in Japan.

"Customers are pleased with EndRun's responsiveness and support" says Dan Paine, Sales & Support Manager at EndRun Technologies.  "Preacis Cntp has been running flawlessly for years and today I finally updated it to Tempus LX CDMA (new frequency band).  It's running now for both IPv4 and IPv6 for public access" says Tak Okamoto from Shoshin Corporation.

The added capability in the Tempus LX/Unison Network Time Servers and the Praecis II CDMA Timing Module is available now.  Other products and options are also available.  Call 1-877-749-3878 for more information or go to www.endruntechnologies.com.
